Tencent Hunyuan new model is coming soon

Tencent executives revealed at a media briefing after the earnings report release that HY 3.0 is currently undergoing internal business testing and is planned to be launched externally in April. This is a major upgrade of a Hunyuan model; compared with the HY2.0 version, the results have improved noticeably, with significant enhancements to inference and agent capabilities. Since the second half of 2025, Tencent’s Hunyuan has reorganized the teams and processes, focusing on improving data quality and rebuilding the infrastructure used for pretraining and reinforcement learning.
