Nous Research has released version 0.7.0 of the Hermes Agent framework, enhancing resilience, stealth, and context management capabilities. The memory system has been redesigned into a scalable plugin system, allowing users to replace or customize backends, with six third-party backends built-in for selection.

ME News update, April 4 (UTC+8), Nous Research recently released a major update to its open-source agent framework Hermes Agent, version number 0.7.0. This update focuses on improving the framework’s robustness, stealth, and long-context management capabilities, with the goal of moving it toward production-grade reliability. The core change is that the memory system has been rebuilt into a scalable plugin system, allowing users to replace any backend or build a custom backend. The memory backend built into the framework works out of the box, and there are already six third-party providers offering alternative memory backends for selection.
