The semiconductor industry conference SEMICON China officially opened in Shanghai. During the event, domestic EDA company Xinhao Semiconductor announced its transformation and upgrade, shifting from an EDA tool software company to System-Level Integration (STCO). Xinhao Semiconductor’s founder and president Dai Wenliang stated in an interview that as the demand for computing power from large AI models surges, the traditional “single-chip advanced process” path (DTCO) is facing both physical and economic constraints, and the focus of industry competition is shifting towards system-level integration.
