Xi'an Chanba International Port 117 Units of Guaranteed Rental Housing Open for Applications
Recently, the Xi’an Municipal Center for Affordable Housing Management issued a notice, launching 7 affordable rental housing projects to the public, including 2 projects in the Chanba International Port, totaling 117 units, prioritizing recent graduates in the selection of housing.
Among them, the Anju·Lezhun (Tieyi Lugang Store) project has allocated 103 units this time, with unit types being two-bedroom, one-living room ranging from 75.28 square meters to 88.01 square meters (102 units) and three-bedroom, one-living room at 116.45 square meters (1 unit), with heating provided by central municipal heating. The registered rental standard for this affordable rental housing project is an average of 17.83 yuan per square meter per month.
The Anju·Lezhun (Shijiajie Store) project has allocated 14 units this time, with unit types being two-bedroom, one-living room ranging from 71.91 square meters to 113.54 square meters, also with central municipal heating. The registered rental standard for this affordable rental housing project is an average of 15.69 yuan per square meter per month.
Reporters learned that applicants must have full civil capacity; applicants must not own any housing within the jurisdiction of the project they are applying for; applicants must not have benefited from affordable housing, talent housing, or rent subsidies for low-income families in this city, or must have currently exited from the above protections. Affordable housing includes: public rental housing (including low-rent housing), shared ownership housing, economical suitable housing, and price-limited commodity housing.
The application for housing is conducted through online registration and online qualification review, with the registration period from March 25 to 27, 2026. Eligible applicants should select their desired affordable rental housing project on the Xi’an Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau’s official website affordable rental housing service platform or through the “i Xi’an” App, fill out the information, and submit the application. They may also go to the project site, where the operating unit will assist with the registration process.
It is worth mentioning that eligible recent graduates (with a bachelor’s degree or higher) who pass the review may not participate in the lottery distribution during the initial allocation of publicly supplied affordable rental housing projects in Xi’an, and will instead be given “priority in selecting housing” based on the order of application approval. New citizens and youth among families in the existing public rental housing waiting list can be prioritized for allocation of affordable rental housing.
