New trends in Layer 2 applications: transaction-centric, integrating social and multi-chain assets

Abstract generation in progress

【Crypto World】A leading exchange’s Layer2 application has recently adjusted its development approach, adopting a “transaction-centric” strategy. According to its founder Jesse Pollak, this shift stems from genuine user needs—people want to trade various assets on a single platform, from protocol tokens and stocks to creator tokens.

This is not a simple overhaul. The new strategy enhances the trading experience while retaining the mini-program and creator token ecosystem (including Pollak’s own $Jesse token). The core idea is to integrate social features rather than completely abandon them. The application’s负责人表示, they will also support more cross-chain asset trading in the future, aiming to elevate both ecosystem engagement and asset distribution to a new level.

Is everything really a one-stop solution? Feels like the big picture is being painted too perfectly again. Honestly, I just want to see how long it can last without changing direction. Social + trading? That's been proven already; the key is whether there's enough liquidity. Cross-chain talk is easy to say, but on the technical level, should we not discuss it? Pollak's own token is still around, uh... now that's very Web3. Multi-chain assets sound great, but will users really buy into it? Another all-in-everything approach... I bet there will be more adjustments next quarter.

Trading, social, multi-chain assets all in one, sounds pretty appealing, huh?

Merge social and trading? That's the right way, don't mess around with superficial stuff. It seems they finally figured it out; users want a one-stop experience. Cross-chain trading is here, and competition will be fierce. Another all-in trading project, will it survive? Not very optimistic. The combo of social + trading, they've borrowed quite a few ideas. Keep $Jesse? This guy still has confidence in his own token.

Another all-in-one platform, still haven't learned the lesson.

Hey, it's another all-in trading plan. Can social still be saved? --- Jesse is stirring things up again. Will he make it this time? --- Cross-chain asset trading sounds good, but I'm worried it's just another PPT promise. --- Keeping the social ecosystem is interesting, but the real profit point is probably trading fees. --- Layer 2 applications are competing in trading now. Who else dares to focus solely on the ecosystem? --- $Jesse is already out there. You need to trust Pollak more, haha. --- Multi-chain, multi-asset—doesn't that raise the barrier even higher? Can retail investors still play? --- Feels like this is just another way of describing Coinbase Base. Is there really a difference? --- Social + trading integration sounds good, but users are probably still after depth and liquidity.
