Iranian exchange Nobitex was attacked by hackers, resulting in losses of over 80 million USD.

On June 18, the Iranian trading platform Nobitex released a second announcement regarding the theft incident. So far, the following measures have been taken to protect Nobitex users’ assets:

All servers related to Nobitex in the data center have been disconnected from the network.

All Nobitex hot wallet balances have been cleared and transferred to a secure address to cut off external access to these balances;

The specific amount of stolen assets is under investigation and will be announced.

The technical team is working hard to ensure the status of the physical servers and restore user access to the Nobitex website.

All user account information is stored on backup servers, and after re-establishing access to the user panel, each user’s wallet balance will be clearly visible;

Since the incident, Nobitex has been in contact with the police and responsible authorities, taking measures to protect user assets and will restore assets transferred from the hot wallet as much as possible.

Earlier today, the Iranian trading platform Nobitex was attacked by the Israeli hacker group “Gonjeshke Darande”. Current estimated losses exceed 80 million dollars.
