According to Gate.io News bot, as reported by Reuters, Pakistan is planning to allocate surplus electricity for Bitcoin mining and the construction of artificial intelligence data centers. Bilal Bin Saqib, head of the Pakistan Crypto Assets Committee and advisor to the Finance Minister, revealed on Wednesday that Pakistan has begun talks with several Bitcoin mining companies. He also pointed out that the specific locations of these mining centers will be chosen based on the surplus local electricity supply.
