PANews reported on December 10th that according to user X @stakenodedev, CME CF has launched the New York Reference Exchange Rate (DOTUSDNY Reference Rate) for Polkadot, calculating the standardized price during the American Eastern market period (3 pm to 4 pm) daily. This provides institutional investors, traders, and analysts with a transparent and reliable reference for DOT pricing, marking an important step towards integrating Polkadot into the TradFi market.
CME Group’s official announcement earlier also announced that the New York version of CME CF Polkadot (DOT) reference Exchange Rate is now online. This reference Exchange Rate lays the foundation for the future launch of financial products (such as ETFs, Derivatives, and Risk Management tools) linked to DOT. Previously, CME CF has successfully promoted BTC and ETH to the mainstream.
User X@BizR replied that CME CF NY Reference Exchange Rate currently covers six encryption assets: BTC (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Chainlink (LINK), Polygon (POL) and DOT (DOT).
