Israeli authorities said a missile hit a residential building in southern Israel.

Gate News bot message, CNN reported that, according to Israeli authorities, a missile struck a residential building in the southern Israeli city of Be’er Sheva.

Shiral Ben David, a spokesperson for the Israeli Fire and Rescue Services, stated on Tuesday morning local time that firefighters are currently searching the area.

Photos shared by Israel’s emergency rescue organization Magen David Adom (MDA) show a scene of devastation, with emergency responders addressing the explosion.

Previously, a video shot by a CNN producer in Jerusalem showed several rockets flying through the sky as nationwide alarms sounded in Iran, with the military warning that Iran would launch a new wave of missiles.
