CMC data bug causes BabyDoge market cap to temporarily top the crypto market, CHEEMS market cap surpasses USDT

BlockBeats News, January 6 — According to community reports, a mysterious bug appeared on the CoinMarketCap website, causing the market capitalization of Meme coin BabyDoge to be calculated as $127.91 trillion, topping the crypto market (Bitcoin’s market cap is $1.87 trillion), with a 24-hour increase incorrectly recorded as 100,549,628%.

The same bug also affected Meme coin CHEEMS, whose price was impacted by the bug and changed to $0.00103 (actual price is $0.00000103), with a market cap of $194 billion, surpassing USDT and XRP, temporarily ranking 4th in the crypto market. The 24-hour increase was incorrectly recorded as 98,132%.

Currently, the bug has been quickly fixed after community feedback.

The system errors are not random 😁 the surprise will be for those who exit it. I will only buy more each next month on some exchanges of this asset, practically the minimum amount.
