Because the employment data was disappointing, reigniting expectations for a Fed rate cut, with traders directly raising the probability of a rate cut next week to 90%. As soon as liquidity loosens, crypto immediately gets pumped, with ETH up 4%, making it the most energetic asset in the market this round.

But don't be fooled by the swift rebound—the sentiment is still all over the place. Japanese government bonds tanked, spooking everyone, but then US employment data injected new life into the market. On top of that, Vanguard suddenly announced it would open up to crypto ETFs, and institutions started cautiously increasing their positions—which led to this "back from the dead" rally.

However, the bad news is still lurking.
