Gate Connect Service Migration Instruction

  • Gate Connect payment channel will be temporarily unavailable starting at 15:00 (UTC) on December 31, 2025 , as we proceed with the next phase of our service migration to ensure operational alignment.
  • Please rest assured that your ability to trade remains fully intact. While Gate Connect payments are temporarily unavailable, you can continue to seamlessly use all Third-Party and P2P payment options as usual. All other trading services and functions will operate without interruption.
  • The service will be reopened following further updates, which will be communicated in due course.
  • Upon relaunch, your Gate Connect trading needs will be supported by Gate Technology Ltd (Authorisation ID: GTEC-25238). As part of this update, you may be required to complete a new KYC verification to continue using Gate Connect services.
  • Please note that the new KYC verification process and the corresponding in-app interface will only become available once the service is officially relaunched. At that time, you may follow the KYC verification steps outlined below on the App.

Step 1: Click profile picture in Home Page

Step 2: Click [Version Number]. If your Gate App version is v8.0.5 or later, no update is required.

Step 3: Click [New Version] and update to the latest version.

Step 3: After the update is completed, go to Buy Crypto page and click [update]. Complete the KYC verification for the new entity. Then you can continue to do transactions.

For Web users, please click [Update] to complete the KYC verification process for the new entity. Then you can continue to do transactions.
