Blockchain

To avoid additional work, the Axone blockchain is built on the Cosmos SDK to provide a customized application with unique flexibility, requirement and performance. With Cosmos’s Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol, the Axone blockchain acts as an interoperability that allows it to communicate and transact seamlessly with other chains within the Cosmos ecosystem and external networks. A smart contract is a major part of a decentralized ecosystem; this smart contract is responsible for handling all interaction from external parties. This decentralized program is centered around three fundamental pillars:

• Ontology: models all the different resources (e.g., datasets, computation services, infrastructure, orchestration engines, etc.), their descriptive properties, and relations with each other.

• Governance: statutes the definition and the validation of resource permissions.

Any parties must use a low-stone smart contract to set rules. After setting rules, they cannot be changed as they are immutable and stored on-chain.

Orchestration services have access to off-chain resources. They only trust the Axone blockchain to execute jobs.
